SeaWorld Penguin Pen

It has been about 6 days since my last advent calendar post, so here are the next 6 presents!

SeaWorld Penguin Pen

Hannah seems to have been collecting advent calendar presents for over a year! She went to Florida last year and brought back some presents, some I didn’t get to see until this advent calendar by the looks of it.

I’d love to go and see the penguins at SeaWorld… one day.

If you hadn’t yet discovered, penguins are my favorite animal and until you go to meet some, you’ll never know why you love them too!

This fantastic book looks at what penguins hate, what they love and what they really hate. Here’s a few examples for you:

Penguins Hate

Penguins Hate Radiation-Induced Zombiism and Lighning-Induced Zombiism

Penguins Love

Penguins Love Bum Warmers

Penguins Really Hate

Penguins Really Hate Goodbyes

There is even more LEGO! Last year Hannah bought me a LEGO advent calendar while she was opening the presents from this calendar that I had chosen for her. I think she’s making up for the fact that I don’t have that advent calendar this year so is giving me lots of LEGO presents. I can’t complain though, who doesn’t enjoy LEGO?

Penguin & Seal Bath Toys

Proudly sitting on the side of our bath are these two bath toys. Now I’m usually a shower person but Hannah told me that I had to have these! We aren’t the sort of folks who would have a bath duck, so a bath penguin and seal seem more appropriate.

Penguin Candle

Penguins seem to be a recurring theme this year… penguins and LEGO. I think I spoiled this one when Hannah handed it to me because I said “this seems heavy, must be a candle”. Little did I know that it was a candle inside a penguin!

He now sits on our entertainment unit next to our TV. I don’t want to burn it though.

When we took our weekend city break to Paris, we spent one of the days in Disneyland. Now I’d never been before. In fact, it was the second time I’d left the country so Hannah said that we had to go to Disneyland Paris before I go to Florida because it apparently isn’t the same.

While we were there, Hannah spotted these little stack-able Disney characters that she thought were very cute. We found her favorite, Perry, and then saw Stitch! Stitch is my favorite Disney character and Hannah thought it would be perfect for the advent calendar so I had to wait for mine.

That’s it for this second quarter now. I think everyone should have an advent calendar that has little presents in leading up to Christmas. It’s like having a stocking but you get the presents earlier!
