The Hullfire for Windows Phone v1.1

The Hullfire WP App v1.1

In between working at Seed Software, preparing my Imagine Cup competition entry, blogging, and enjoying the snow, I decided that I would do a quick update for The Hullfire app for Windows Phone. I’m going to be trying to add new features with each release or fix I do for the application.

So in the latest version, I have updated the UI by separating categories into their own pages and having the home screen of the application being home to featured articles. The change to the UI is to add features later in my development of the application including “The Guide” which is currently only featured in The Hullfire newspaper as a pull out.

I have also made an update to the way Live Tiles will work so that the article featured on the back of the tile will change making it even more live than before!

The app also still features all of the previous features including sharing via social networks, via e-mail and viewing the article on the Hullfire website.

The update has been submitted to the marketplace. I will make an announcement when the update is available so you can update from your Windows Phone device!
