App Folders

A feature that has been available on a select few other Windows Phone 8 mobile devices has now come to the Nokia Lumia range and this feature is App Folders, and going against rumour, it is actually available for ALL Nokia Lumia devices running the Amber update meaning you don’t have to wait for the Black update to arrive.

The application essentially lets you create a folder of applications and then pin the folders to your home screen.

The process is very simple, you download the App Folders application to your Nokia Lumia device. When you open the application up, you will be greeted with this screen when you can start making your app folders.

Simply click the ‘+’ button in the application bar and you’re on your way to creating your first app folder. From there, you can select all the apps you want to have in your folder (including built-in settings like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc.)

You can then organise your apps in the folder, pin it and you’re done. So you can now go and clean up your home screen!

Nokia Lumia users can download the application from the Windows Phone marketplace now!
